Create a New VC Channel
In your discord create a new channel that will be a dedicated spot where you watch your movies or shows. I title mine The Movie Theater.
Settings
Personally I go ahead and adjust the settings so everyone is already muted upon entering the VC. That way there is no Background noise or random sounds coming from anyone's mic. You can use a separate text channel or the provided VC text channel for any conversation's you'd like to have during the movie or show.
Hardware Acceleration
Finally make sure your hardware acceleration is off so you can stream from your browser. You must use streaming platforms in browser and not the app. Check out this video if you need help finding it.
